- Typical Application
Mainly used for :
- Temporary protection of metals during transport and indoor storage.
- Protection of metal equipments being in long-term contact with a static and corrosive liquid : degreasing baths, stripping operations, etc...
Can also be used in :- As corrosion inhibitor for metal-working procedures (metal working fluids, degreasers, strippers, grinding fluids, polishing fluids, cleaners).
- As a hydrophobic agent for solvent borne waxes, greases, sealants and glues.
- Product Application
Temporary Protection
The Ascotran-L13 can be applied by spaying, dipping after being diluted into a solvent, or into the last metal working bath (degreasers, rinsing tanks). Dosage from 2 to 10% depending on the required protection duration.
Other Applications
The Ascotran-L13 is mixed into the corrosive liquid at a dosage between 0.3 to 1% depending on the liquid nature and metals to protect.
