Unisil SE 50-53M

• After application, it reacts chemically with the reaction groups of the treated material and forms a durable protective water repellent coating chemically bonded to the treated surface.
• When used as an additive in paints, the emulsion Unisil SE 50-53M usually does not reduce the stability of the paint during storage. This allows the use of the emulsion as an additive to various water-based paints (acrylic, styrene-acrylic, latex), improving the properties of the paint, the technology of its application, the properties of the coating.

For water repellent surface treatment:

• brickwork made of ceramic or silicate brick;
• reinforced concrete products;
• concrete, aerated concrete;
• lightweight fillers;
• perlite;
• mineral plaster;
• ceramic materials (tiles).

Application at surface treatment

Preparation of surface:

• Remove flaking, loosely bound to the base particles, remove dust and other contaminants. It is recommended to clean the surface with high pressure washers, steam cleaner, water jet or mechanically, remove dust. After wet cleaning, allow the surface to dry.
• The application of the agent is recommended on a clean, dust-free surface. The application on a damp surface free from visible water is allowed.

Preparation of working solution:

• Please dilute 1 L of agent in 5 - 10 L of water, depending on the absorbency and nature of the material to be treated.
• The recommended amount of prepared water repellent solution should not exceed the amount required for one day of work.
• Before use, please make a trial treatment on a small area of the surface or a single element.
• The surfaces that cannot be treated must be closed to protect them from undesirable exposure to liquid.

Application methods:

• Apply with roller, brush or spray gun until complete saturation of the surface, repeat application on still wet surface, i.e. "wet on wet". When application please provide uniform and complete absorption of the liquid in order to prevent spots and stains.
• The consumption rate depends on the porosity of the material to be treated and the application method, and can range from approximately 0,2 to 0,5 l/m² of the prepared working solution.
• Carry out work in dry weather conditions at temperatures between 5 °C to 25 °C. Drying time at a temperature of 20 °C is not more than 24 hours, at a lower temperature the drying slows down and may take longer.

• The emulsion does not contain organic solvents and other environmentally harmful additives;
• no hazardous chemicals are released during application;
• deep penetration into the pores of the treated material;
• application on a damp surface is possible;
• forms a durable protective coating chemically bonded to the treated material;
• retains the gas permeability of treated materials after application and drying of the coating.

• Polyethylene barrels up to 220 L;
• special polyethylene containers up to 1 m³.

           The container must be equipped with a safety valve.

• Store in tightly closed original container at temperature from 5 °C to 30 °C.
• Keep in dry, cool and well ventilated place.
• Prevent from direct sunlight and freezing.
• Store away from oxidizers, strong acids, alkalis and other chemicals having alkaline reaction.
• The shelf life in original container is 12 months.
• Storage over the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean the product is unusable. In case if store more please check the properties of product before use.
