- Product Benefits
- Flow control in order to prevent sagging.
- Improves dispersion preventing fillers sedimentation during storage, making the product more stable.
- Improves plastic behaviour at extreme temperatures (from −20° to 60° C) without modifying its dimensional properties significantly.
- Full compatibility with the rest of the components of the formulation, being it easily added without modifying the manufacturing process.
- Reduces considerably manufacturing time due to the different gelling mechanism to organophillic bentonites (swelling).
- Avoids the use of polar activator, reducing formulation costs.
- Improves the ageing of the system due to its high adsorption capacity, lengthening its equilibrium.
- Better surface finishing of the coating.
- Improves application due to its pseudoplastic and thixotropic properties.
- Excellent cost - efficiency.
- Key Properties
Self dispersing rheological additive designed for low polarity systems made of mixtures of aliphatic and aromatic

- Recommended Use
- Pangel® B10 is a powder product that needs a suitable dispersion in the system to achieve the maximum efficiency in the development of its properties.
- Unlike organophillic bentonites, the product does not gellify by swelling, so it must be dispersed with high shear mixing devices (Cowles, Dispermix or Silverson type), not being necessary the preparation of a pregel. The product can be added directly during the manufacture of the coating.
- It is recommended to disperse Pangel® B10 in part of the asphalt solution, and once a correct dispersion is achieved, add the rest of the components.
- In anticorrosive coatings, it is not necessary to use polar activators for obtaining the best performance with Pangel® B10, so it is recommended to add the anticorrosive wax to the solvent part in which the product is dispersed. It is not the case with organophillic bentonites.
