Product Applications

Afcona – 2290 is recommended for:

  • Solvent-free or solvent-containing epoxy, polyurethane, UPE and UV coating.
  • Other high polarity systems, including NC and acid-curing. For low solid and thin film application systems, confirm that this product does not contribute to cratering, as this is a 100% active defoamer.
  • Due to its strong defoaming properties and silicone-free composition, it is also very suitable for primer coatings.
Incorporation

Afcona-2290 may be incorporated prior to processing. If added subsequently, good distribution must be ensured.
