Features & Benefits
- CASE Ingredients Features
- Product Highlights
- Insoluble in water, but easily soluble in almost all organic solvents, including alcohols;
- high reactivity;
- the presence of reactive groups provides, after applying the protective coating, the formation of a strong chemical bond with the treated material, and ethyl alcohol is released and vaporized;
- improves mechanical properties of coatings;
- coating resistance to high temperatures;
- can be used in formulations with a low amount of solvent;
- polymerizes at room temperature;
- good wetting properties, also on wood surfaces.

- Coating End Applications
- Areas of Application
- For the production of transparent and pigmented formulations, as a single binder or in combination with other silicone binders for the protection of metal, wood and glass
- for the production of heat-resistant silicone enamels with heat resistance up to 650 °C
- for production of weather-resistant hydrophobizers
- impregnations and varnishes for wood
- for production of water emulsions for water-dispersion paints
- Product Applications
- Coatings based on Unisil MSO-M1 dry at room temperature when catalyst tetrabutoxytitanium is added in the amount of 2-5 % of the resin quantity.
- To obtain corrosion-resistant heat-resistant coatings it is recommended to use inorganic pigments and fillers in the form of plates, for example, mica or talc. For silver-gray colors, aluminum pigments can be used.

Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life
- 12 months
- Storage Information
- Store in original containers in a dry, cool, ventilated place away from sources of ignition and high temperatures. Protect from direct sunlight. Store separately from alkalis, strong oxidizing agents and organic acids.
- Shelf life is 12 months at temperatures from 0 °C to 30 °C.
- Storage longer than the date indicated on the label does not necessarily mean further unsuitability of the product. However, if the shelf life is exceeded, it is necessary to check the product properties before use.
